5th Chat Comenius
On Tuesday 2nd of November, 2010 we have been connected in a new chat Meeting. We can consider a success our fifth chat Comenius, although we had some problems - to be solved in our next chat - our students could communicate to each other and felt really happy with this activity.
The Hungarian Meeting
Here we are starting a new academic year (2010-2011).
First of all we want to thank the Hungarian partners for their warm welcome and the effectiveness of their organization. The Meeting took place in Oroshàza from 13th to 17th October and there the plan for this new period was discussed.
As it was agreed we publish the Presentation we worked with in Oroshàza. Every country has to send their final activities for each topic depicted in the presentation to be published too, both here and on the wiki. They can also be published directly by every country.

Reading Contest Awards in Spain
The Spanish Reading Contest Awards were given at our library on 7th June by our principal, Mrs Inés Mª Iglesias Martinez, Mrs Eulalia Sánchez Caja, as the Comenius coordinator and Mr Benito Hortelano Blasco, as the Library coordinator.
There were two winners for the first prize who are going to Italy in January 2011 and also received a book or a cinema ticket, the second prize winners received a digital camera with a book or a cinema ticket ; the third prize winners got a 20€ cheque and 2 books and the fourth prize winners were given a 10€ cheque and 2 books.

Our First Comenius journal has been published
We have been involved in the design and creation of a new digital journal inside our Comenius project. Here we are the first design now we hope your collaboration, this is a fictitious Main page, it is just an example, we suppose everybody has received the e-mail where the procedure is explained, let us know your opinions.

Then join our reading contest and win the big prize – traveling abroad! You only have to do the following 3 steps:
1. Translate a chapter of a book which is in the Comenius corner in the school library
2. Make a Powerpoint presentation about the author of the chosen book
3. Draw a picture, a sketch or a comics presenting the characters of the book
Give your materials to the librarian not later that 15th March 2010. We wish you luck!

Buket Uzuner in Turkey
On the 4th of December, 2009 author Buket UZUNER visited our school, we went to local library close to our school together. She talked about "Turkey and multiculturalism" and she has executed a conversation with the students to encourage them to read more books. Also, students asked questions from her book called 'Mediterranean Waltz' which was read by Spanish and Turkish students.
This meeting has been announced again in HABER TURK internet press on the 8th of December 2009..
Meeting with Simonetta Agneli in Italy (Massafra)
The famous writer Simonetta Agneli came to our school in Massafra to meet our students and after a lecture answer their questions. it was a very interesting meeting. Thes tudents have read her book " Mennulara" and aked her a lot of questions. The Press published this activity.

Meeting with the famous writer Georgy Raichevski
The meeting was in December at the Great Hall of Professional School for Construction, Architecture and Geodesy - Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Many students from the school took part in it. Here are some photos from the meeting.
